Book Club: El Explorador del Amazonas

This July and August we’re going on an adventure to the Amazon—no passport needed, just a cozy reading spot! 

We’ll read El Explorador del Amazonas by Katherine Rundell, an award‑winning, edge-of-your-seat story about kids surviving in the jungle—perfect for curious bilingual explorers. 

Grab the book or audiobook in English or Spanish (or read aloud with your family), and I’ll send short Spanish read‑aloud videos and fun facts by email while I’m visiting the Brazilian Amazon. 

We’ll meet in August to chat—possible dates are Aug 11 or 12 at 10:00 a.m. CT on Zoom (I’ll confirm the best day), and please be patient if emails arrive slowly—I might be deep in the jungle with spotty internet.
